• tagA named value in the PLC's memory, such as Pushbutton or Lamp. Contacts read tags and coils write them.
• timerAn instruction that measures time while its rung is true. It has a preset, an accumulated value and a done bit.
• TOFOff-delay timer. Its done bit comes on at once when the rung goes true, then stays on for the preset time after the rung goes false.
• TONOn-delay timer. Starts timing when its rung goes true and turns its done bit on when the preset time has passed. When the rung goes false it resets.
• transitionThe condition between two SFC steps. When the step before it is active and its condition is true, the chart moves to the next step.
